Co-founded and operated three independent hospitality businesses across the greater Sacramento area, gaining hands-on experience in business development, team leadership, financial management, compliance, and day-to-day operations.
What I worked on
- Launched Bloom Coffee & Tea and helped introduce third-wave coffee to Roseville, building a strong local brand and growing the team to more than a dozen employees.
- Opened Pause Lounge & Kitchen, a cocktail and small-plates restaurant, managing hiring, vendor relationships, bookkeeping, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
- Launched Broadacre Coffee as Sacramento’s first multi-roaster café, featuring a rotating selection of coffees from leading specialty roasters and developing an expanded food program.
- Recruited and trained employees while managing scheduling, inventory, purchasing, cash controls, permits, taxes, and operational standards across the three businesses.
