About

I’m a software engineer who enjoys taking complicated, fragmented processes and turning them into clear, dependable systems.

Today, I’m a Software Development Engineer II at AWS, where I help build the capacity-planning platform for the AWS fleet. My work spans system design, backend architecture, large-scale data processing, cloud infrastructure, production incident response, and front-end tooling. I primarily work with Java, Python, TypeScript, and AWS services across serverless and containerized environments.

My path into software wasn’t traditional. Before becoming an engineer, I owned and operated small businesses, then entered technology through an apprenticeship. That background shaped how I work today: I care about understanding the real problem, communicating clearly, taking ownership, and building software that is genuinely useful.
